Removing red wine from carpet tile

To remove red wine stains from your carpet , sponge the stain with Vanish Napisan Oxi Action Powder + cold water using a clean white cloth & blot dry. This is something I have had to do more times than I care to count.
The results though have been mixed depending on the carpet colour texture and age as well as the wine quality.
For some reason its seams that better quality wine stains carpet more readily (maybe that's just me).
In any case since we have had carpet tiles installed I use the above method after lifting the carpet square and taking it to the back yard where i give it a good hose! No stain like magic!!

You might have to make a little more effort on a lighter carpet but not a bad result i would say- and how easy.
